Saturday should’ve been better…it was planned out perfectly. But when I make plans, something happens and messes things up. Thats why I live life on a whim. George and I got up early and made it to the Jockey Lot in time to get a good look at all the bootleg DVDs, rows of farm animals, and acre upon acre of other useless, yet interesting items. We bought a vidoe game for original Nintendo, a Jameson liquor flask and a handmade Dora the Explorer pocketbook for Bailey. Afterwards we drove into Greenville, took the Woodruff Rd exit and found the movie theater. We wanted to see Batman, just like everyone else in the city must have, because there was nowhere to park. We decided to skip the movie and get some lunch. George asked me to stop at a gas station so he could buy some smokes, and as I sat there waiting for him, my car started to smell bad. We pulled into the parking lot at BJ’s Wholesale Club and popped the hood. He said my alternator was too tight and needed a certain size wrench. Luckily, there was a Home Depot next door. He headed into the store, I walked back to the car to drive it over to Home Depot, and it wouldn’t even start! I became kinda pissed off at that point, must have been the heat. After several attempts to start the car with no luck, we called his roommate in Anderson to drive up to Greenville and rescue us. We walked across the street and had lunch at Flat Rock Grille. I do recommend eating here, the food is delicious, but be prepared to spend 40 bucks for two. Next we took a stroll through Old Navy and had ice cream at Marble Slab Creamery, then our ride showed up. I ended up having to leave my car in the parking lot at BJ’s overnight and give George time to exchange the new alternator that I had just bought last weekend. So he went back up to Greenville last night and fixed my car. I swear the man is my angel. Seems like there is nothing he wouldn’t do for me. We ended up finishing up the evening by picking up some Jager and some 100 proof Southern Comfort and hanging out with some friends. I ended up with a sunburn and a bad cramp in my neck, so when drinking time came, I just couldn’t get into it, and only had about 3 shots of Jager and going to bed. But George had a good time, I could tell. And thats all that mattered. He told me last night he didnt remember much from the night before and asked me if I was upset at him for getting so drunk. Of course not, he didn’t offend me at all. In fact, I had planned ..ing off all the Jagermeister myself and sharing the intoxicating experience with him. He is quite funny when he drinks.

So that was my Saturday. Good or bad, I got to spend it with George.
